Liaison Sub-Committee on Core Tasks of Select Committees
The Sub-Committee was appointed by the main Committee on 23 June 2026. It launched its inquiry on select committee core tasks on 15 September. Core tasks for departmental select committees were last agreed by the Liaison Committee and approved by the House of Commons on 31 January 2013, they can be found here .
